This website is information about furniture. It is not a workshop, and it is not a till.

Who is speaking

The publisher is lloydsbsbs, at the correspondence address 55 Dalston Ln, London E8 2NG, United Kingdom. The telephone +44 20 7749 1780 and the emails on the contact page are for questions about the site. lloydsbsbs is not a bank, an insurer, or a repair contractor. It is not affiliated with other organisations that use a similar name.

What the pages are

The notes are general. They describe materials and habits of looking. They are not a diagnosis of your piece, not a promise about an outcome, and not an instruction that is safe in every room. Older paint may contain lead. A cracked chair may fail if you sit on it. Those limits are repeated inside the relevant notes.

What the site does not do

It does not sell furniture or materials. It does not take payment. It does not book visits, collections, or repairs. It does not introduce workshops. It does not ask you to choose a package of work. There is no basket and no checkout. If a page were ever to offer those things, it would be a different site from the one described here.

Photographs and names

Photographs are stock illustrations. They do not show the publisher’s premises or staff. The desk does not invent reviews, awards, or qualifications. Wording that would claim a result is certain — official, guaranteed, or universally safe — is out of bounds under the editorial policy.

How to rely on a page

Use a note to prepare your own observations: photographs, measurements, and a record of the room. Then decide, separately, whether you need someone in the room with the piece. The publisher is not that person. Nothing on the site creates a contract for repair work. The terms of use and the privacy policy sit beside this disclaimer. They do not soften it.

The short form of this text is the bar under the header on every page. If the bar and this page ever diverge, this page is the fuller statement and the bar should be brought back into line. Write to [email protected] if you see a sentence that sells a service or claims an affiliation the site does not have.
